Our story
We believe getting married should be simple, fast, and joyful. That belief has guided every step we’ve taken.
The first step came in January 2020. Three of us, Alex, Parker, and Andre, saw a problem: getting married had become more about paperwork than passion. Couples faced long waits and confusing steps just to say “I do.” So we started Married Today CA: beautiful same-day, in-person weddings across California. Today that means ten wedding chapels, from San Francisco to San Diego. In the six years since, thousands of couples have married with us in person.
The leap online
Then Utah opened the door to online marriage: fully legal ceremonies, performed over Zoom by Utah-licensed officiants, open to couples anywhere in the world. It was the natural next step for us. We launched Virtual Same Day Marriage in 2025 to bring everything we learned in California to couples everywhere: the same care, the same speed, the same celebration. More than 600 couples have already married online with us in the first year since we started.
