Will your marriage count where you need it?

In the United States Yes. Your marriage is legal in all 50 states, the same as any courthouse wedding. Your certificate is issued by Utah County, a US government office.
For your immigration paperwork Your certified marriage certificate is the state-issued record used in spousal and fiancé petitions. The digital copy arrives within minutes of your ceremony, and certified physical copies follow by mail. We’re not a law firm and we won’t promise outcomes, but we’ll make sure you have the documents your process needs.
In your home country Most countries recognize a legal US marriage. Some require an apostille or a certified translation, and a few, including the UK and Canada, have special rules for online marriages in immigration cases. Not sure about yours? Ask us before you book and we’ll give you a straight answer.

Built for couples like you

Every week we marry couples across borders, languages, and time zones. Whatever your situation looks like, we’ve probably already married it.

Partner in another country? They join from a phone, anywhere in the world.
No witnesses available? We provide them, and they appear on your license.
English isn’t your first language? Bilingual officiants and translators are available, and your officiant will never rush you.
Weak internet? Ceremonies work on a phone connection. We’ve married couples joining from ships at sea.
Different time zones? Choose a time that works for both of you, day or night. Same-day times available.
Family far away? Parents, kids, and friends can watch live from any country, and you get the recording after.

It will feel like a wedding. Because it is one.

A Zoom ceremony sounds practical. Then your officiant welcomes your families, your partner’s voice shakes on their vows, and it becomes your wedding day.

Your vows, your way Write your own, repeat after your officiant, or keep it simple with “I do.” Nervous is normal. There’s no wrong way.
Your people, your traditions Family joins from any country. Want a prayer, a blessing, or a moment for someone to speak? Just ask your officiant.
Your recording, forever Every ceremony is recorded so you can relive it, and share it with everyone who couldn’t be there.

“I would marry you in every lifetime over and over again.”

Your questions, answered straight

Can we use an online marriage for a spouse visa or green card?
A legal marriage certificate is one step in a spousal or fiancé petition, but it isn’t the only step. Your petition will also need things like proof of a genuine relationship, government forms, and filing fees. Couples use our marriages in these petitions every week. One rule worth knowing: US immigration law treats a marriage where the couple wasn’t physically together at the ceremony as complete for immigration purposes once you’ve been together in person afterward. Most separated couples plan a visit after the wedding anyway. We’re not a law firm, so confirm the details of your case with an immigration attorney.
Will USCIS take the digital certificate, or do we need the mailed copy?
Both are certified. Your digital certificate arrives within minutes of the ceremony, and certified physical copies arrive by mail. If your petition checklist asks for a certified copy, the mailed copy is that document.
What date will appear on our marriage certificate?
The date in Utah at the moment you marry. If it’s Saturday morning in Manila but still Friday in Utah, your certificate says Friday. Pick your ceremony time with that in mind if the date matters to you.
Is a Utah online marriage recognized in other countries?
Most countries recognize a legal US marriage, often with an apostille and a certified translation. A few, including the UK and Canada, apply special rules to online marriages in immigration cases. Ask us about your country before you book.
Do we both need to be US citizens?
No. Neither of you needs to be a US citizen, and neither of you needs to be in the US. You each need a government-issued ID and must be legally free to marry.
What if one of us doesn’t speak English?
Add a live translator to your ceremony, or request one of our bilingual officiants. Your officiant will go slowly, and there’s no rush.
How do witnesses work when we’re in different countries?
Witnesses join the same Zoom call from anywhere in the world. If you don’t have two adults available, we provide both.

“We’re married now. We’re official. Finally.”

Said seconds after the pronouncement, between Chicago and Quezon City

You’ve waited long enough

Some couples wait months for a courthouse date. Some wait years for a border to open. You can be married today, legally, with your people watching from anywhere in the world.
